Name: Corsten Vaughn Fenlin
Age: 27
Birthdate: June 3rd
Personality: Corsten (or "Cor") is a fun loving, big-mouthed, party seeking, alcohol guzzling, jock who is impossible to embarrass, humiliate or stop once he gets going. It is not beyond him to do absolutely anything to make at least someone he's with laugh, including making a complete ass out of himself (he'll embarrass you before he even hints at being humiliated in his own behavior). He always has a "great joke" on hand, can be irritatingly corny to a fault never missing an opportunity for a crack, and really is just a very sarcastic, care-free, "whatever" kind of guy.
Unfortunately, this makes him a very un-sensitive guy. Tears, sadness, pouting, feeling of any kind are a little beyond him and when faced with an emotion outside his usual care-less display he freezes, stumbles or has no idea how to handle and respond to it. Most of the time he ignores it, or comes off as cold by telling them to just stop. This may be because he has grown up with three other brothers under their mom, who is also a strong, bold, outspoken woman who is a no-holds barred type of woman.
Corsten was raised to "Get it Done", and his jobs are anything but half-assed. He is a hard worker and does his jobs to the best of his ability. He can also be loyal to his friends, opinionated and defensive, and his mouth has a tendency to run away from him. He will do his best to stop a fight before it starts, but once a punch is thrown he'll be the one to end it. "Think before you speak" is a creed that fights him constantly. Yet, he is still a polite individual to superiors (to a point), women and around children.
Self-Perception: "I am friggen' AWESOME!" Proud, ambitious, fun.
Mannerisms: Walks with a "strut", hands in his pockets. Has a tendency to interrupt people with a joke, or a sarcastic little jab.
Pet Peeves: Lazy people, "dark" sad people, anyone who can't just cut loose and relax. Oh, and people trying to get in on a chant when not knowing the words.
Hobbies: Drums for a group of friends who like to get together and play at the pubs every so often.
Habits: Smokes, likes to rock back and forth on his feet in a casual "meh" kind of way. Constantly messes with his hair, making it look worse then it already does. When nervous he will curl some of the longer strands in the back around his finger.
Family: Aideen (mother - 47)- A rather tall, tough woman who shows no fear, no weakness and does whatever it takes to make sure her boys are taken care of. She rules her house with an iron fist, a loud voice and a dangerous right hook, puts the fear of death into her sons, and is not afraid to throw the gloves off. Her rule of living: "Eat or be Eaten".
Seosamh (pronounced: SHOH-sav)(father - 53)- As a captain from the modern-day Ireland region who somehow ended up settling on Mars, it was always a possibility that he would one day never come home. A little over 11 years ago Seosamh was pronounced dead after a hull breach during a meteorite shower his ship was caught in caused the ship's cabin to de-pressurize and rip him into space.
Curran (brother - 17)- The mirror image of his older brother, with a bigger attitude problem, Curran isn't a bad kid, just a mouthy one. He's smaller in frame with longer hair that is a very rich auburn, blue eyes and fairer skin. Curran plays guitar and is currently in his last year of primary education. Unlike his older brother he has no choice about University, he *is* going and that is final! He is a silent genius with numbers.
Nolan & Quinlan (twin brothers - 13)- The twins are typical teenage boys who love sports of all kinds. While Nolan and Quin aren't inseparable, they certainly are never far from each other and have a knack for getting into trouble. Both boys have brilliant red hair and stormy green eyes. They're average students, friendly to everyone, and aren't quick to hold a grudge.
Residence: A larger single story apartment on the Colony Belt Outpost (between Mars and Jupiter). It is small and livable for only one since he sends what extra money he can back to his mother to take care of his brothers back on Mars.
Social Status: So-so. They're not poor, but he's not horribly well off either.
Occupation: Cargo-bay worker by day, bartender by night.
Income: Enough.
Talents: Can recite the alphabet backwards while standing on one foot after downing an entire pitcher of beer. Juggles bottles while bar-tending. Can un-twist beer caps with the inside of his elbows. Can also play drums. Is also one of the best pilots on the Outpost.
Strengths:
Weaknesses: The sound of his full name from his mother's mouth. Letting down his little brothers, letting down his mother. A pretty face. A bar fight.
________________
APPEARANCE
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 175lbs
Dress Style: Shorts, sandals and a light colored button up. Casual, yet clean.
Noticeable Marks, Scars, etc: A nasty scar up his left leg, on the outside, from when he slid across the ground, catching a rock and scraping it all the way from his ankle to his knee. Stitch scars on his right shoulder-blade, and various other knicks, small scars and staple marks around his body.
Short General Description: A green eyes, muscle-bulky young man with fair-ish skin and messy, usually unkept more-red-then-brown hair. A few freckles are scattered about his face but are usually not horribly noticeable as his complexion is more often then not fairly tanned from working outside.

CHARACTER
Biography: Corsten may very well have made something of himself. He had an ear for music. Math wasn't too horribly hard, especially when the old man could navigate on stars and a sexton, and taught him how to do it at a young age. Hell, even science was pretty easy. And as a pilot? One of the finest, a real chip off the old block. It wasn't that he didn't have the drive either. It was just... well... when you have three little brothers and it's just your mom against the men, you really come to understand what's important to you. And helping to take care of his family was more important then school.
That, and he promised his ma that she would not lose her son like she lost her husband.
They were never poor, in fact they were pretty comfortable. His father made a fair amount of money, and always had a new story about his latest stop somewhere in the system outside of Mars. There was always the possibility that some day "da" would never come back, and Aideen raised Corsten to understand that. He knew that when his father set off not to "expect" him to come back. It was a hard lesson, even harder to practice, but somehow Seosamh always managed to come home.
Yet, as Aideen had always expected, one evening a man from the station came down to speak to the family. Corsten was 12, just turned, and watched from around the corner in the hall with his younger brothers (then 6 and the twins 2) as the man recognized as his father's co-captain sat Aideen down and told her that they had run into a meteor-shower. Seosamh had been pulled out into space after a hull breach while trying to save a fellow crewman who had been knocked unconscious. After the captain had left Aideen took her boys and hugged them, telling them that "da" was not coming home. "This means you're my little man of the house now," she said to Corsten without so much as a quiver in her voice. "Will you help me watch your brothers?"
Corsten took this responsibility and title to heart. He got a job at the Outpost as soon as he could, often working a few hours here and there and making sure to be home in time for dinner as often as possible play with the younger boys, like their father would after coming home for his last voyage. Aideen never shed a tear for her husband in front of any of them. It was that unwavering strength that was embedded into his mind and made him always work his hardest for his family.
Now, at 27, Cor can say he's got a pretty good life. He works, he comes home, he has dinner. He takes care of his "ma", beats on his brothers when he can spare time to fly home, and heads out for either a night of fun, or out to bartends for a few extra bucks in his pocket.
Education: Made it all the way through his primary education, had a knack for music but couldn't afford to continue on into college. Is an excellent pilot but promised his mom and his brothers he would never fly.
Spiritual Beliefs: "Ya can't take it with ya, so enjoy it while you're here!" That's about as religious as he gets.
Goals: To do the best he can, and be able to give his mother something nice after his little brothers are grown up and on their own. He also wants to make sure his little brothers grow up and get on their own. After that? Maybe travel a bit, see the world. Start a bar fight on every planet!
Favorite Food: Alcohol. That's a food... right?
Favorite Activity: Drinking, "singing" (more like cawing in a drunken haze with the boys).
Best Memory: Winning the 7th annual bar-dancing and drinking chant competition.
Other: Corsten can absolutely, without a doubt, kick a *lot* of ass. Though he's more of a drinker then a fighter, and would be more likely to diffuse a situation then fight it, he will end a fight with his fists if there's no other way out. (He is based off the very stereo-typical rugby guys that my best friend and I drink with at our home bar in the summer. They're fun loving, funny, fairly well mannered guys who just want a drink and a laugh. I've never had to slap any of them.)

THE SOLDIER
Identity: Zodiac Knight Gemini
Element: Lightning / Earth
Gemstone: Emerald
Symbol: II - Symbol of the Twins
Transformation Sequence (long): "Light and Dark, Good and Evil, two sides to every story. Thus I take on Gemini!"
~The green gem in his bracelet glows green, blacking out his body so there is only a green silhouette left though his eyes are visible. In the center of his waist the symbol of Gemini glows silver (as if on a belt buckle) and his bracelet turns from a braided bracelet into a leather bracer. Corsten then touches the cuffed wrist to his bare one, causing another bracer to appear. He crosses them in front of his face and pulls them apart to spark silver lightning like electricity to shoot from both bracers and crawl up his arms, around his body down to his feet that "build" his fuku. Lastly a ring of lightning shoots around his forehead to give him his silver "crown", ending down his back to draw his blade.~
Transformation Sequence (short): "Two sides as one, I am Gemini!"
~The green gem glows as green lightning shoots up his arm, changing his civilian clothes into his uniform as it crawls around his body.~
Transformation Item: A braided hemp bracelet with a single, larger dark green bead made of polished emerald. This bracelet was one of the few gifts he was ever brought home from his father before he disappeared. Since his father vanished he has never taken it off.
Weapon (if applicable): A long sword, more broad-sword then Katana-like, with a silver hilt and a deep emerald gem set at the top. The actual leather "grip" of the sword is a deep green leather. Mystical runes are etched down the blade and glow with a light green haze when channeling power in a massive amount. He also caries a pair of twin knives for close hand-to-hand combat that are kept in his boots.
Abilities, in order of appearance:
1. "Drink and Fight" - This is more of a "buff", so to speak, then a move. From a flask Corsten takes a deep drink which will allow him to fight with seriously increased strength, agility and speed (a flash of green electricity circles around his body, crawling down from his head as the "infusion" takes place). It only lasts five minutes, long enough to either finish the job, or get himself out of a sticky situation. He can do this once per fight, twice when his powers are fully awake.
2. "Gemini's Last Warning" - Clapping his hands together and slowly pulling them away Corsten builds up energy between them, creating a large ball of electricity. This is discharged at his opponent by turning his hands outward to "let loose" the ball. He can do this multiple times a fight, but the more he uses it the weaker it gets. He is able to control how much energy goes in to one (i.e. firing off a bunch of smaller ones in order to save energy for a bigger one at the end of a fight).
3. "Twin's Wrath" - His knives are held on in each hand. After a couple of fancy moves the pair become six (three in each hand) and thrown at his target, falling around them to create a circle. Corsten then takes his sword and points it blade out in his outstretched arm "directing" a bolt of lightning to strike the knives, releasing energy between the blades to shock the target trapped in the middle. This can also be used to "trap" an enemy within the charged circle to let another Knight or Senshi use a move against them.
4. "Moon's Twin Guardian" - This is not so much a move as it is a lending of power to "buff" Moon for his/her attacks or whatever. Gemini will drive his weapon into the ground, pressing the jewel in his wrist-guard to the gem in his hilt and allowing his powers as Gemini to be drained and transferred to Sailor/Knight Moon. The complete draining of his powers will knock him out of transformation, and he will stay out of transformation for the rest of the fight/encounter.
