Not having cable has placed a lot of time on my hands. I made this: using the editing features in Photobucket. Its not as great as I think I (or Linna) could do using photoshop. All things considered, though, its not bad. Its not fantastic, but its not bad! This leads me to the next topic. Are we at a point where we should start advertising the game to get some more players? Do we even want any more players? If so, is it ok to use the banner above to advertise on RP Promo boards on LJ (at least until our resident artists can give us something better to work with)? What say you all?

This banner is definitely better than nothing - I personally think we should really get to advertising! We have lot of character slots to fill - especially considering the Zodiac Knight Class was brought in - and getting some more players would be great. I'll try to start some advertising when I get a chance.

So while I was out prurusing the intarnets I came across some images that might make good banners in the future. Shut up, I was on a castle kick, ok? This last one is actually the castle from the original show...its hard to find good shot of JUST the GD castle and near impossible to get Crystal Tokyo without Sailor Moon right out front >_<

The banner you did is beautiful, V, and the pictures you posted are gorgeous, too, Neko. I agree - they could make for wonderful banners, too! You both did a wonderful job

I wanted to echo the same, those pictures are gorgeous. Are they actual art for Sailormoon?

Just the last one is, taken from the original show. The other three are from a Google image search. I typed in something like "fantasy castle" and those were a few of the best ones I found. My favorite is the top one, followed closely by the third one down.

Me too, the first one is captivating and the last one... well, I'm a fan of creepy and strange so it's wonderful. I like the second one because it's like some odd water garden set ontop of space, or a black hole dragging the water downward. Nothing ever beats the old moon kingdom castle though. :3

I actually favor the second one best. It reminds me of the original art from Sailor Moon, but in a much more fancy, fantasy-like way that just makes me feel like I can already see our characters apart of that kind of Kingdom. I guess it is the trippy atmosphere of it all that I love best

Moo-I love the creepy too. I am a Goth after all. The creepier the better in my book. Except horror movies, I have a hard time with those.
Steff- that's exactly why I chose that one ^^
They all in some way reflect my own personal view of the kingdom. How I see it in my mind's eye. Each one portrays something about the kingdom I think is important. Whether it be the moon, the fantasy aspect, or the darker parts. ^^
