You're pretty much up on the school scale right now. I hope you get to do exactly that. Teaching kids about dinosaurs sounds awesome.
Yeah, I felt terrible when he did. I was kinda hope he would live to see whatever happened.
Mine was Akira, when I was like eleven then it was Sailormoon. The corny part is what appealed to us young happening pre-teens! It is wonderful though and pretty kickass all around. I can still watch and enjoy it today.

Oh my husband went to work one Saturday, and I was supposed to clean the house. So he walks in 8 hours later, I'm in front of the computer and he's like "...what the hell did you do all day?"
I watched Sailor Moon on YouTube for 8 hours. >_> Totally forgot I said I would make dinner. T_T ROFL!

XDD The internet is ensnaring like that. I've managed to avoid cleaning just by going hm... lemme check something online, one too many times. Sometimes I just leave though to achieve that. OH... I thought what you were saying was said separately. Ha, I could probably do that too... should try, maybe. Youtube allows full episodes and such? I kinda want to download some of the real player video ones laying around. It's been about a year or more since I watched any episodes. What's your favorite language to study? Culture? [Go all out, I'm really interested in knowing. ]

Usually the episodes are broken up into three pieces, but they're still good quality! And the movies too! I watched all the movies!
I like all the cultures that weren't pounded into my head in school as a child. (I am so sick of American/European history!) So my favorites are Greek, Norse/Welsh, Indian (as in India), Asian, and South American. I would love to learn some of those more far out languages, like Punjabi or something. French and Spanish are a little over done. I did take Latin for a couple years though!

I don't blame you, I think even the history illiterate knows enough about America as it is, even Europe, when you live here. [unless you're not from here, then feel free to expound me] I used to study Chinese, I miss it, terribly. I loved developing the accent for it and learning every little word but without continued studies, I pretty much forgot it all. I know nothing about Norse. Care to tell me a few things? Mm... I'm still for French, I used to think the same thing then realized it would be a pretty cool one to learn. Punjabi? Are we talking a language that not many people go for? XDD I'm always amused when someone has down somewhere and I speak 'insert random language here' and I can't help thinking, I wonder how many people they can converse with in that. That's not a bad thing, it's awesome.

Punjabi is one of the main languages in India. I love how it sounds, we have a lot of Indian residents, fellows and research doctors here at the University. It just... it flows so nicely. I think it's a beautiful language personally. Latin was fun to speak, but I'll be damned if I can remember any of it. >_< My husband took Italian for a semester (He's Irish/Italian) and it was HOT! ROFL!
Nope, I'm from America. Steppy is from France though! She is bi-lingual, something I wish I could say the same about me.
Norse mythology is not only awesome, but bloody. My family is very Scottish/Manx and have very deep celtic roots so I love the Celtic/Norse culture and mythology. It would take a long time to explain, the Gaelic language is probably one of the most difficult to learn. Scottish Gaelic is almost dead at this point though.

Oh! They are beautiful people, and they do speak beautifully. It's probably a hard language to learn too, you always hear about japanese, french and spanish and their levels of difficulty but hardly others. Ha. What grade did you take it in? XDD! Hell yeah, I can bet it was. For some reason... blame American Media, I always think italians speak english and it never pops in my head that they might have their own language.
Aww. Are you not studying any languages seriously?
I knew some about the Scottish Gaelic and how it was dying out. I know, some of the stuff I've heard translated sounds nothing like how it looks written. But it's amazing that it's deeply rooted in your background. Manx is a part of...?

I tool Latin my junior and senior year, so about seven years ago or so. No, I'm not taking a language right n ow, but when I go b ack to school I plan on it. What, I don't know. Maybe Latin again if they offer it, or Italian.
Manx = The Isle of Mann, which is a tea-cup shaped island off the west coast of Wales in the United Kingdom. My family is originally from Scotland, then most of them relocated to Mann. Ever see the movie "Braveheart"? That's like, family history! It's pretty cool.
Scottish Gaelic sounds like you perpetually have something stuck in your throat. The new-age singer Enya actually speaks it, she's done a few songs where she sings in it. Interesting as all get out.
Ok so your turn, where ya from, what do you do, family? Interests? Hobbies? =P I'm a NY chick, I could talk about myself for hours to a wall if I thought it was listening.

Welcome aboard again, Moo.
Hee...Moo...awesome...
ANYWAY...I am actually in the process of writing a more detailed description of Neptune. If you'd like to do the same for Mars, that'd be awesome. I can't wait to see your concept for the Senshi. We've never had an orphaned pauper to prince story before. It sounds amazingly interesting.
I'm really happy you found us via rpg_promo. Means my add wasn't passed over along with the other fifty million "different" Harry Potter RP's on LJ.
I'm glad that Linna seems to have answered most of your questions! I'm about three hours behind everyone else living here in AZ and I'm not allowed to use the internet for personal purposes while at work. Therefore I gotta get caught up pretty early in the morning, or later at night.
Anyway, its good to see some fresh blood. Since Linnakins is gone this weekend, feel free to PM me, or hit me up via AIM: hashibaarrow with any questions or idle chit chat.

That would be really cool. Never seen it but definitely know about it, that's a brutal history to have. XDD So, you're related directly to the character who was based off the real person sorta thing? I never thought of it that way, and I love her. Though never heard her speaking Gaelic before. A state of tomatos and buckeyes, at the moment nothing, family is several. Languages, traveling, photography though I don't do any at the moment, writing. That doesn't matter to me! I don't mind if anyone talks really. Do eet! Toby - XP Where's the name Toby come from then? Yay! I was glad to see something different for Neptune. We could always compare notes to, like if they've ever been at war with each other. Yes, she's awesome! That's okay, I'm usually on late at night anyway. And yeah, I liked your heading and everything. I'll definitely do that.

The name "Toby" actually came from a book my fifth grade teacher read to the class. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the book, or the story, just that the main protagonist had this crush on a girl named Toby at the beginning and I thought that was a really different name for a girl. So I adopted it. I'm also known as Neko to Steph as that was the handle I had in the last RP we were in. I've pretty much dropped it nowadays since it seems as though a lot of people have "neko" somewhere in their name.
We can compare notes concerning Mars and Neptune if you'd like. So far Neptune has only been at war with itself. However, maybe it'd be interesting if Mars was backing a certain side. Also, I'm in the process of creating our first villian, Novarin. If you'd like, I would be interested in creating plot bunnies with her and Mars as a planet. Right now I have her focused on Neptune because its at war. But getting her claws into a displaced prince may prove to be interesting as well.

Hey (again) Moo.
I was around while you and V were talking yesterday but I was concentrating on writing my first post for one of my two characters, Liora. I've got a bit more time now so here I am making an appearance in this thread!
I love, love, love your idea for Mars!! I cannot wait to see the profile!!

But getting her claws into a displaced prince may prove to be interesting as well. Funny the way we acquire nicknames. I like boy names on females, and certain female names on males. <3 Recently I acquired the nick Bambi by my sister's friend's daughter. Yeah, don't blame you on that one, I've known so many Nekos in the past but nothing wrong with the name. That would be really cool, I'm sure Mars would since they do enjoy their war. Especially the General. and I would love too, seriously. She could also make fluffy evil plans with two other evil foes in the midst, if you'd like. btw, a human pb inspired this... is there something against it? I've looked everywhere for a glasses wearing anime character to suit him but find none, most of the other people [side characters] being created are anime though. Just, I really love the human pb and wanted to use him terribly. Steff - It's okay! Hi. *GLOMP.* And I absolutely love your Sailor V, and the stuff you did with Venus. It's awesome.

PB's are absolutely fine. We don't make a big deal out of them like some other RP's, but we don't have anything against them.
We'll have to talk about a relationship between Neptune and Mars and see which side the General would back.
Novarin really works best alone. I hadn't really considered her allying herself with other baddies, since as I was making her, she was the only one. Either you work for her or you don't. However, that being said, she does realize that sometimes "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." So again, we'll have to discuss. Steph has an idea for a bad guy too.

Thank you. And that sounds like fun, what time are you usually on aim? YAY! There'll be no shortage of bad people then. No problem though, I think one of them would feel the same as Novarin in terms of allying himself.
